hi all i was wondering if it is worth it to buy plants online? ive never did so i go to petco to buy plants but im lookng for more selection. any good sites for this ?

Plants I've gotten from sellers here have far outweighed both quality and quantity of anything local petco has ever had

Yup, this forum is the place to go for HUGE variety plus quality. People here take the hobby very seriously and will sell good plants and you will find way better quality than anything at your LFS

You can get them here hut when you ask if they have snails I wouldn't trust them. I bought some from a guy he said no they are snail free. Now I have a snail problem.

Snails are just a given in this hobby and they're typically a sign of a healthy tank.

Don't let snails deter you from buying plants from a fellow hobbyist here on the forum. It's a small price to pay for quality in my opinion.

thanks ya'll ill be looking forward to buying some more plants from the ppl here. i think im goin to get my lights first then drop some money on some cool plants. ive been looking into moss and ferns nothing specific yet. but how are the light requirments and ferts? since im not at home i cant give ya'll any tank details like water quality. my gold fish have mastered the art of begging for food. im trying to get my 29 gal up and running but my wife says no. so im stuck for now with 4 goldfish in my 55 gal. who like to call my plants dinner thanks in advance,
