I find buying online can be a really good deal or a disaster. But then much depends on both the buyer and the seller. If the seller is experienced and knowledgable, it will likely work quite well. But that requires the buyer to also do some things to help. My disaster came about due to my lack of thought. I bought at the totally wrong time. Christmas rush season is not the good time to order fish! A two day priority shipment took six days. The dealer did replace them but it was still dissappointing. Both buyer and seller should have known better!
Buying at other times, paying for the best shipping and the seller doing a good job will make it all come out very nice. I find Aquabid is often a good place to find good bargains.
