That is some nice white on that Bee Shrimp.

What are the bubbles on the substrate from?

Cannon SD850 IS My Wife got it for me today.... After some practice and if I use a tripod I think it's going to be fine for shrimp etc.

They are very nice Bee Shrimp and came from a member here, 3 are currently berried as well.

The bubbles are on some Aqua Soil Amazonia...I have been slowly adding it to mix with the Fluorite without causing a mini-cycle. I have been having to use peat to keep my PH where I want it and hoping the added substrate will help maintain it in the desired range.

Adding just a few tablespoons a day until I get the amount I want. To many young shrimp in these tanks for a safe tear down (doing CRS tank this way too) to change substrates right now. The bubbles hang on for a hour or so unless curious shrimp jar them lose.

I have noticed that a lot of people are now getting DSLR cameras to take macro shots of their shrimp. I am going to write an article on my site with tips on taking macro shots of shrimp. It is not easy, but anyone can get good at it.

Dwarfpufferfish= I am not copying your site, or writing this article because you wrote one. I have taken many pictures with my DSLR camera and macro lens. I just want to share my experience and knowledge I learned through the many hours I spent. Please do not get upset if/when I write one.

With the right equipment, it is pretty easy. I took a look at the article on theshrimpfarm.com there is a lot that you can improve on that article. I don't think dwarfpufferfish will see it as a copy.
