Im pretty sure thats the arnold schwarzenegger of betta fry. I would suggest you do not put your hand back into the tank, for your own safety.
Do you think he'll grow up to be one of the "giant"/"king" bettas that reach about 3 inches or just happened to get lucky with an early growth spurt?
I'd separate it. It may be getting big off its...uh...siblings.

mmm tasty fratricide and sororicide
Its normal for his to happen. Usually the most dominant or fastest growing fry sexree a hormone that kind of stunts the growth of the rest of the fry or fish. I have one male from my batch that's twice the size of the rest.
Yeah I hope he's a 3 inch platinum dragon red. Hahaah. Soooooo sick

I'm not gonna remove him he taught me something. He stay by the filter out let. I have the water pouring over 3 sponges and some floss and that is half submerged. He's hogging the best food source ahhahahah. I sweezed the sponges and bam food everywhere all the other bettas started coming out of wherever to eat the stuff

Be sure to keep us posted (with photos) as the big one gets older and let us know if it turns out as a norm-y or a giant ^^

That never made much sense to me. The fastest growing fry would also be swimming in its own hormone, resulting in it also growing slower.
Yeah unless he does it and leaves nest
