I'd like to invite all Oklahomans to visit our club's website. The OKCAA has OKC in the name, but we have members from all over the state and a few that live in other states. Our next meeting will be December 11th, Saturday evening at 5pm in Norman. The address will be posted on the site this week. We'll be having a bowl show and our traditional Christmas pot luck.
Our regular meetings are the 3rd Saturdays of the month at the OKC Zoo Education Building from 2-4pm, but every 3rd meeting is held in a members home during the evening so that people that work on Saturday can catch a meeting. It's also a good chance to see some really nice aquariums.
Meetings generally include a speaker or demonstration, a discussion and an auction. The auction usually has a lot of fish and plants for incredibly low prices, so it's worth checking out. Several of our members are hard core aquatic gardeners and bring in their trimmings regularly, we also do a lot of trading between meetings. It's a great way to meet fellow hobbyists and visitors are always welcome.

www.petsforum.com/OKCAA We also have a yahoo group that doesn't require being an OKCAA member to participate.
One of the benefits of membership is that card carrying members receive discounts at several fish stores in the region including Aquarium Concepts in Warr Acres, Pet Lovers in Mustang, Reef Shop in OKC and some others that I can't remember right now, but I'll add them later. I know the one in Shawnee gives us a 25% discount.
