Please be aware that Ohio has updated their laws regarding Invasive plants which includes some of the species we want or keep in our aquariums. The full list of both terrestrial and aquatic plants can be found at Ohio Invasive Plants Species effective February 13, 2023.

Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York share a lot of the same aquatic plants, at least according to aquarists that frequent our local club auctions.

I have 2 Bradford pear trees that I will need to remove from my yard this year. :(

I know I don't have to remove them but somewhere in their literature which of course I can't find now, it is still recommended due to the possibility of cross pollination with other tree species.

I got them free from my brother over 10 years ago as he was dumpster diving home depot for plant material they were throwing out at the end of the season.
