Nice lol! I think somebody on this forum also tried their plants... Pennywort I believe they tried.

Here is the Wikipedia entry for Limnophila aromatica . . .

L. aromatica has a flavor and aroma reminiscent of both lemon and cumin. It is used most often in Vietnamese cuisine, where it is called ngò om. It is an ingredient in canh chua, a sweet and sour seafood soup which also includes tamarind, and is sometimes also added as an accompaniment to the noodle soup called phở.

Watch out if you dose excel or any fish medicine! (not good for you)...

Has anyone tried a marimo ball? Might be good on a cracker. (Don't actually try this, just in case it turns out to be poisonous or something)

I tried java moss once...tasted grassy with slight bitterness, java fern tasted bitter, blyxa was also grassy, HC was also just grassy, Maybe today I will try some hygro polysperma.

As long as you aren't sampling CRS out of the tank I think you are ok. Ha

The Wolffia-tomato sandwich has to be the most unappealing sandwich I've ever seen. i don't think even mayo could help it

however in the event of a loss off power and water if push came to shove i would drink the water from my tank after i boiled it or dropped in a couple of iodine pills....
