Hi guys, I'm setting up a new showtank for my home where the wife lives too so it will be looks (on the outside) above all else! Don't worry I still have permission to use the garage! :D

Anything goes, and I had been thinking about the hanging pendent light look, but I think I prefer this Oase Highline look instead. I need to cover the tank for jumpers, so the thin hood with LEDs appeals to me rather than a glass or screened top. Oase does not sell this in the US, so short of a custom build is there a similarly designed thin hood suitable for a planted tank by a US manufacturer or at least one than can be shipped overseas? I probably would have already ordered this tank if they shipped to the US, I like the style for my room.

Thank you!

If you just want a lid because you plan to keep fish known for jumping, there are low profile options. Waterbox makes lids for their tanks that are very low profile. I have their diy kit and it's decent. Not blow your mind amazing, but it is extremely minimal in design and good for the price.

If you really want a tank with a canopy, there are options. I remember hearing about Aqua Atlantis a while back and they do make what you are looking for

Fluval makes a few kits that have the Oase look. The Fluval Siena is probably the closest in design to the Highline, but the Roma is still a modern design. I would imagine that the hood has ample room for the Fluval Plant 3.0 lights if the hood is opaque and not suitable for pendant lighting. Also, I'm not sure if they are available in the US. You could call a local dealer and see if they can get one.

Thanks,
