aka the banana-less banana plant.
I can't find info on how big leaves get, is this plant too big for a standard 5g (16x8x10 lxwxh)?

You could "train" it by religiously trimming it. It would become the centerpiece that way.

Hi AquaAurora,

With trimming I can keep in growing nicely in a 10 gallon; if I let it go it will grow to the top of a 24" tall tank.

Thank you both for the input! I'm currently debating about setting up my 10g (in storage atm) or putting this plant in a 5g.. in a 10 g I could get 2 or even 3 and then the 5g can be set up on the desk and be its own biotope for something new... ahhhh the MTS is rampant!!!
Btw Seattle lovely photos! I don't see fish in the 10g though, have any fauna in there?

Hi AquaAurora,

Thanks for the nice comment. There are a couple of Corydoras habrosus hiding in the thickets and a couple of Otocinclus in there as well.
