Hi everyone,

I just noticed after filling up my 29g last night that there was water leeching out of a top corner of the wooden stand it is on. I got worried and made arrangements to move fish around, expecting to empty this tank and do something about it.

I checked it again this morning, and now that corner is absolutely dry. There is no water leeching out of any place on teh stand or on the tank.

Can water leaks stop leaking? Or do leaks continue to bleed water?

Thanks!

How high was your water level?

Sometimes the top rim isn't entirely sealed, and if it's filled completely, capillary action can wick some betwixt the rim and the glass.

Try just dropping the water level a bit, and see if that helps.

Oh, yes that definitely could have happened. I think I did fill it up all the way to the top last night. Now the water level has dropped since removing some of the water in preparation for a complete emptying of the tank.

I'll try filling it up to the top just to see what happens....

Thanks!
