Nice tank, but I thought the rays are very delicate? Won't the wood damage the rays?
no the wood will not damage there disk or other parts of there body
only stones can damage them but if you delete the sharp pieces there is no problem
why you don't add plants?
it will be great here!
I think the rays would just dig them up, Subotaj. They like to bury themselves in the sand if I'm not mistaken. Although some moss on that "stump" would be awesome in MHO :).
rosehawke told it allready ;)

i have try all the big possible plants and they always dig them up
2/3 times a day all my plants are digged up

in 1 week i was sick of it and delete all the plants ;)

thanks all
the tree stump is amazing... i'd put the ray in a pond and setup a planted tank with that stump, but that's just me :)

it's a kind of hardscape that i would go buy another tank and set a whole new system with it.
No no, it looks gorgeus with no plants in it even.

you may try a big amazon sword and let it grow in for a month or so.
the root system on those plants are awesome.
Also, i would leave Osteoglossum Ferreira out of the stocklist, and amke the tank an amazon biotope.
it is a amazon biotope the Osteoglossum Ferreira is a black arowana from the amazon ;) plants are just not a option the Myleus Schomburgkii's will eat them all ;)
That looks like an awesome ray tank.

Oh, i see.
I'm not too familiar with aro's, i thought they were all from asia.

It will be cool anyway.
