I bought a set of lenses off of amazon for my nexus 5 and they were not compatible with my phone. The reason is the nexus 5 has image stabilization and the magnet from the lenses causes the internals of the nexus 5 camera to constantly vibrate. If the nexus 4 has image stabilization (hardware not software), I'm sure it will not work.
