From what I hear, Blue bee shrimp (paracaridina sp.) are almost as easy as neos. I've always wanted to give them a try, but that means setting up another tank which I don't have any room for.
i want to try blue bee shrimp but never been able to find them when i have the money lol. tiger shrimp are a step up but go with regular tiger shrimp dont go with the fancy tigers as they can be alot pickier than crystal reds. you could even try lower grade crystal reds like S grade. they are not as picky as they used to be and i have even had them breed in higher ph water (between 7 and 7.5 ph)
... and I have Super Tigers in the same tank as the blue bees, along with crystals (of various colors and "qualities"), chocolates, blueberries and Malawa.
They're all just one big happy family!
