Hi all, my name is Rich I'm new to this forum and am here to pick all you brains for some advice.
Firstly I've kept fish for about 15 years, 10 of which we're tropical and 5 were marine, I've just shut down my 500l reef tank at the weekend and opposite to most am going from marine to tropical.
I'm planning a small planted tank and am looking for you advice/input on my purchase choices and any recommendations for anything else really.
Tank: I've priced up a rimless, braceless, opti-white 24"x15"x15" tank with clear silicone and black back glass.
Lighting: Am big LED fan and am looking at a 24" HI-Lumen 6500k lamp.....any good?
Filtration: Fluval 106 external.
Thoughts............
Obviously substrate, co2 etc are all other things to ask you about at a later date, just want to get the basic equipment right first.
