Please look at the pics and rate my tank.
No CO2.
First one is with black gravel. (29.06.2020)
I changed the gravel after 2 months. (20.08.2020)
The last one is recent pic.

Hello and welcome!

Your first tank was definitely better then my first planted tank.

For improvement down the road I would try to branch out from the island design, create levels with the hardscape and integrate wood into the hardscape with a lot more rock etc. Look up underwater videos of fish swimming in streams and try to emulate what you see. Good luck and have fun with it!
