Hi, been lurking for a week or two and decided to have a planted tank.
The info here can be a bit overwhelming especially for someone new to the hobby. I love the photos, tanks, fish, and everything I have encountered on the forums so far. Happy to be here.
I don't get alot of the abbreviations, find myself googling your jargon alot
I am dealing with ich in my 55g tank that is being replaced on Christmas.
Stay at home mom of 1 with a 29g African Cichlid tank and 55g Blood Parrot named Bubbles.
I am hoping to create a new home for her, not much of a budget to work with but have a few must haves. Got a dual T5 light fixture yesterday, I figure I at least want decent lights, the rest will have to come over time.
Anywho, Merry Christmas everyone, and glad to be here.
