Just to point out, in the first and third photos, the plant with the white edges on the leaves is not an aquatic plant. It is a Dracena species.

Not familiar with fluval much. But the finnex lights will push you out of low light. The 24/7 par changes through it cycle but still is alot.

I run the stingray on my 10. I think its under rated. I run it on a split photo period at 6hrs with floaters and have enough par for low/med light plants. Minimal algae. Stingray is also cheaper.

Now I feel like an idiot.. Bought them from Petco didn't know any better.. Should I bring them back and return/exchange them? I'm assuming these aren't meant to be sold as aquatic plants?
If they are willing to give a refund, you should take the plants back.

They are not supposed to be sold as aquatic plants, but more often than not, are sold as such.

Bump: Awesome! The Stringray was actually one of the ones I was looking at, that's worked pretty well for you so far?
Alot of people have bought that plant don't feel bad.

Yes google stingray on 10g. Theres older threads dedicated to them. Thats what convinced me. Theres a good following of beamswork too. Stingray I think is about 8 to 10 bucks more.
