Hey all so this is my second set up with live plants and I just wanted to make sure of a few things. I am setting up a 29 G and going with all low light plants easy plants Amazon swords java fern annubias java moss. I will be using a sand substrate with root tabs and liquid fertilizer. I will be doing a fishless cycle
Does this sound about right?

Will you be adding ammonia to the system for your fishless cycle? Lots of people suggest also adding fast growing stems from the get go to help battle algae while you get cycled and established.

Yes adding ammonia and l did order some fast growers

Root tabs are good (great for swords in particular as they are primarily root feeders) but like most things, moderation is key. If you put down more ferts than your plants can take up you could end up with a nasty algae outbreak (don't ask how I know).
