I have set up my first planted tank. Its 125 gal. I used organic choice miracle grow, sifted prior to use, and mixed in 1 bag of flourite. I did a 1-1 1/2 inch bottom layer of the soil and capped with gravel/sand appro 2 inches. I put in some rock for decoration, which I washed prior to installing. I planted some different plants from the local pet store. Then I filled it the rest of the way and added declorinator. Then I set up the Fluval FX4. The first day it was crystal clear and had zero debris or cloudiness. The second day the water started to look cloudy. The third day the water was more cloudy, so I bought a testing kit. There is 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and 0 nitrate, the ph is about 6.8. So I read that it may be a bacterial bloom. I read that I should do water changes if there is ammonia, but there isnt any. So the question is if there isnt any ammonia should I still do the water changes or should I wait out this possible bacteria bloom?
