Regarding your tank. What most people suggested on your original thread is pretty sound help/suggestions. Personally, I would ditch the rock, honestly... and the background, lol. But that is a personal choice. If you like the background though try adding some plants to it, like java ferns, Anubias or, even better, moss(es)! You can buy clumps of it online and attach them here and there creating a more natural look. You can staple it wherever you want and the staples will rust adding iron to your water column(a very important nutrient for plants). I would buy some sword plants( genus Echinodorus) from your local pet stores, they are pretty cheap and can be separated to make multiple plants. It would be better to hit up your PetCo because they still utilize the actual plant tanks - so you can get a good idea about the plants before purchasing. Some Valisneria would look really nice too, maybe behind a stand of swords. I like the look of different planes in the same tank... for example, using rocks and substrate to create plateaus for planting on either side then leaving kind of a valley or, ravine in the middle. It is a better use of space than planting in a straight line.
