My plant guy got this moss from an international supplier in an unlabeled bag. I picked up a ton of it for my planted 180g. Neither of us have really seen anything like it before. The size is larger than micro-mosses like fissidens and Java moss but significantly smaller than anacaris or hornwort. Green blades with no vascular veins noticeable. And a bright red branching stem. Any ideas?

Maybe giant fissiden from thailand or sumatra?

I’ll look into it. So far giant fissidens seems a little more fragile looking. And nothing has the red I’m seeing. I’ll look into it though.

I’ll keep you posted. Really trying to find a species name right now to know what I’m even looking at. It’sa really nice-looking moss though. And the shipment came from Thailand, so there might be something there.
