i applaud the efforts of the planted tank to make this forum a more enjoyable place to be a member of. you couldn't have picked two nicer members.

although, i am left wondering why a more knowledgeable member wasn't chosen.(no offense to sewingalot and mistergreen - you guys rock!)

my point is that i feel like some of this communities more knowledgeable members are posting less and even not posting at all. this is kinda disheartening because this forum is only as strong as it's members(and those who moderate it).

anyway, i guess i was just left wondering why the administration went with form over substance here.

Lol... I doubt it... I Tend to like your way.. about things? Not sure how to put that... Not to sound stalkerish but I do follow alot of what you do hear on the forums.. Its amazing what I've learned simply by clicking threads I noticed you comment on. Plus your advice, to other people, has been invaluable to me. Though I take care of my tank a little differently from you... My whole goal is to achieve lush growth thats easy to maintain (slow growing lol). That means no fertz or CO2 or anything.. just a light and some sand. Its going rather well. Anyways.. following you around on here has put me so much further towards my goal than you could ever imagine. Sorry about all that. I just think its about time I say a proper thank you...

So sweet of you to say such kind words. Thank you, brightens my day. But really, you shouldn't follow me unless you want to grow evil algae. This forum is the best, isn't it? I'd consider adding some root tabs for your plants if you are just using sand. I have some DIY recipes I can share, just shoot me a pm.
