Hello everyone,

I'm Drew and located in Starkville. I'm relatively new to the hobby (just started my second 10 gallon tank) and am thinking about starting my first planted tank soon as I really like the live plants. Just wanted to say hello and see how active the group is!

Sorry I missed your initial post! Not a lot of activity here but there are three new members from the state(including yourself). I'm currently the only/mst active member from MS(Philadelphia, MS). Good to see more people joining! There are a lot of stickies at the top of each sub-forum with how-tos and, invaluable info. Check these out for good basics. Hey drew! O/ I'm new to the site also. Just joined a few days ago. I live in hattiesburg. Glad to see another mississippi boy on here. From what I've seen so far on the site HD Benson will probably be your goto guy on here. I've read some of his recommendations and he is spot on. Very knowledgeable guy. I'll try to help where I can but I've only been keeping planted tanks for a little over 2 years. I've had a fish tank for the last 15 years but only recently got into planted tanks. I love them and will never have a fish only tank again. Well I hope you luck and hope to see you around the forums.
