Hey guys,

Im setting up my new 55G tomorrow, yay!, but i have a few questions.
I will be transfering my fish, plants and possibly driftwood. I will be switching out my substrate for flourite. If i set up the tank tomorrow, using the 38G of water from my current tank, will it be able to withstand the bioload of eveyrthing? I will be using my eheim 2217 also from my old tank.

The water does very little, if anything, towards cycling the tank. It is the solid materials in the water that have the bacteria colonies on them - the substrate, plants, filter pipes, rocks, wood, etc.
