I posted a pic a few days ago in the Aquascaping forum asking for thoughts on a driftwood arrangement. This is the idea I was working on:

After taking a few suggestions, mounting the driftwood on tile and playing around with the arrangement, I ended up swapping things around a bit.

Here is the first bit of wood on tile:

This is what I finally ended up with after planting:

I'm happy with how it turned out.

(Although looking at that last pic enlarged on my screen I did not notice that creepy ghost-like shape to the left of the tank. There was no one else in the house when I took that pic.)

Good looking start, hardscape looks nice.
