I have a betta with two mystery snails in a 1g tank. Last night i put the snails in without quarantining. Now my betta has a white mark on his head and i have him in a cup with better light so i can see it better. I see little white particles floating in the cup. The store had a fish with ich and im worried the snails might have given it to him please help.

earlier i had put some cheesecloth in for something and i think it is the cheese cloth particles floating. Some are long and stringy the others tiny and round. I looked up ich and it looks more like he lost a scale than ich.

Sink Gas Glass Tap Liquid

There's a good chance you'll have health problems and a shortened lifespan with this fish unless you get him in suitable living conditions. A betta should be in a minimum 3 gallon tank with an appropriate filter and heater. I personally wouldn't keep one in less than 5 gallons. The bigger the better. Keep in mind, this fish is living in it's own toilet. The more dilution the better.
