You need to give us more tank specifications. Will it be fully planted? Gallons? Measurements?

Ooops, I'm in such a rush that I forgot to post specs. It will be going on a 20H (24x12x16 in.) w/ a DIY Yeast CO2 fed into the intake of a canister filter, dosed ferts, etc.
Lushly planted (most likely). It's in an ebay auction I just found expiring soon. I would be more confident in making the decision myself but LED's are not very familiar to me...

EDIT: Just search marineland reef and it's the first one...
Oh my bad. The 10000k leds in these are very blue, more so than normal 10000k lighting it seems. The blue lights will be ok for night time lunar lighting, but doubt you will want that much blue during the day. I would expect the price to increase a bit, as it has gotten a good deal of attention. I'd worry about the "loose" connections. I wouldn't throw away a 100 bucks on something that could be on its way out.
Hmm, yeah, you're probably right. I guess I better go a tried and true approach before I throw away cash...
My understanding is the spectrum of the blue light emitted by the LEDs in the fixtures you're inquiring about is much more appropriate for a saltwater/reef-style tank than it is for a freshwater planted aquarium. Therefore, if you're interested in trying one of the new Marineland LED-containing fixtures for the latter type of tank, one of its "Double Bright" fixtures would be more suitable than the new Marineland LED fixtures designed for reef tanks.Hmm, yeah, you're probably right. I guess I better go a tried and true approach before I throw away cash...
OMG this is the light i would LOVE for my Planted aquarium... I think it would be good its just that since its a REEF that it might have more blue lights needed and Photosynthesis in freshwater plants dont need alot of blue.. the blue is just in most of our freshwater lights to make the water seeable... i wanted a 24 to 36 in. Double Bright LED light for my planted aquarium... but its too pricy for me now.. im waiting for the price to lower down.. but i mean if your tank isnt that deep then it should be perfect... they say how the LED arent really for planted aquariums so idk... thgh im pretty sure that they will make freshwater planted aquarium lights like T5's and the Metal halide ones thgh... thgh i dont think it would really be suitable for a HEAVILY planted aquarium...

If you want the rgb setup just check ebay for 5050 RGB strip lights should be plenty of light for smaller tanks
