Need to know how to plant HM

I got several long stems of HM and wanted to plant it in a pot to keep it short and stop spreading. Can I just cut the long stems and place all of these in the soil or is there another way? How long should the cuttings be?

just cut it about 3", and strip the lower 1" of leaves, and plant those. the bare stem, under substrate will automatically root for you. good luck!

It's darn near impossible to kill HM so, just stick the ends of each stem in the substrate and do your best to keep it from taking over.

I will use the tiny pot to try and control it. I want to keep it trimmed to a shape like I saw with the ADA award winning tanks.
