Need immediate help! Solenoid just failed open - what else can go wrong!!!

Fish sitter just called me - solenoid failed open - new regulator!!! I told him to just turn the large knob to shut it off. He said it's coming out only very slowly. Is this the right thing to do?

Yeah. Even though the large knob is shut off, there is probably a little gas still left in the system. It should slow down to nothing pretty fast though.

This just isn't your day is it. First the GFI issues and now this.

You can probably get a new solenoid without replacing the entire regulator.

Plus the heater issue a couple days ago!
