Hi guys really need some help with the id of the plants. Been having some problems with them, the upper tier of leaves for the first plant seems to be getting thinner and longer. While the leaves of the second plant seems to be melting away.. i do use excel so could it be the problem?

Thanks

Those plants look like they were grown on land and they're no transitioning to life underwater. Melting is common during this process. The first plant is Rotala sp. 'Nanjenshan' it's leaves are supposed to be long and thin like that.

Hey all, thanks for the help you have given me.. really appreciated it.. the 2nd plant still seems to be rotting.. from the right to the left.. probably a disease?

Can Nanjenshen be propogated by cutting the stems and planting it?
