Hello, I have some problems with some of my plants. I am suspecting that I might have nitrogen, magnesium and potassium problems .

So, the question is, do I put enough fertilizer, or could I h ave another problem? I am following the tropica guide, and I thought it would be ok, because I don`t have that much plants.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx

Even though your nitrates are not high, they're high enough to give the plants sufficient nitrogen. Pin holes are a symptom of low potassium. Other than that, all I can do is recommend a commercial mineral suppliment. But too many minerals make water hard. So you want to start them at 1/2 recommended dosage and see if you srart seeing improvement.

I am already using the green liquid fertiliser from tropica. This already contains mineral isn't it ?
This might sound different, but there was a post earlier titled Shrimp saved my tank. She showed before and after pics of her plants, and somehow the shimp did make her plants grow better. Go to the forum list and see you can find a title of shrimp saved my tank. I wish I could remember the name of the shrimp for you myself.
