I have a 54 corner tank and am looking for a tall plant(s) to form a curtain in the rear corner behind an arched piece of driftwood. The light isn't particularly strong in that spot. Does such a plant exist? I was hoping crinum would work, but I'm not sure.

I dose excel and have a 2x65 pc setup.

Thanks.

I second the recommendation for the vals. IME if you acclimate them to Excel by building up to a full dose over a couple of weeks they won't suffer any harm.

Another vote for Jungle Val. I've got one in the back of a 6 gallon tank under 8 watts of light. I have to trim it every other week and it's shot off 5 (big) daughter plants in around two months...

I have aponogenton crispus under stock lighting in one corner of my tank and it's growing excellently. Flowers regularly too. I'd give it a try if I were you, it would make a great curtain ( mine is just in a clump in the corner ATM )
