Hi, I am looking for a cheap and quick surface skimmer attachment to use on occasion with my Eheim 2213. I just want to be able to throw it on for a day or so, then take it back off.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with any of these that I found?

Do any of these have flow restrictions that would be contrary to the flow required by the 2213?

I just basically need to know if any of you have used one, and how was the flow?

I have been using Hagen for the past years and recently replaced by it Aquaclear. I do not see any differences between two.

They can be adjusted by a plastic rod that sticks out the surface. Very easy to use. Get one if you have problem with surface film, etc. It's a good investment.

I have been using one for about 2 years. I haven't noticed any flow reduction. I think they are all the same just in different packages with different brand names on them.

I've been using one for a few months. Had significant surface film before, which caused me to get one. Haven't had any after.
