Have any of you seen this Philippine Island's native's Youtube videos?

There are some stunning in-stream views and he's doing a lot of Cryptocoryne habitats.

He's got a diverse collection of different biotypes recorded, the sound tends to get crunchy and his camera's lens focusing motor is a bit loud.

I'm assuming our forum has no direct embedding of videos?

Does anyone know what the shoaling fish in the first video is?

Thanks a bunch for sharing these videos!
Always great to see videos of natural habitats.

Loach guy, do you mean the fish with a black and iridescent lateral stripe? Or the reddish/orange group of smaller fish at the beginning of the video?
Title of the video says "Rasbora kalochroma" which are probably the group of red/orange fish.

It's hard to tell what the scale of the fish size is in his videos, but the reddish surface schooling fish in the first video look like R. Kolachroma, except they're way too small for adult sized R. Kolachroma's, which can get over 3" in size. I suspect the bright yellowish green iridescent striped ones are probably a an unidentified Rasbora of some sort.

They find new genera and species of little Danions and Microrasboras almost monthly in these blackwater streams.

Sweet. I think she meant both, but more of the iridescent lateral line fish. I thought they were pencil fish at first. Thanks for the info guys! I am cycling a 10 gallon tank for scarlet Badis and CPD right now. My significant other saw the video and said "why can't you put neat fish like that in there". So I can now tell her that I need to fill out the proper paperwork and she can pay for me to go to that hole in the jungle and gather them, or she can just leave my hobby up to me...haha. Thanks again for the video and the info.
