Pretty scary thing happened to me a couple days ago. I bought a couple SAE's, the last ones Petland had. Somehow I managed to dump them down the drain....seems I missed the bucket. I quickly opened up the pipe below the sink. Luckily all of them were still in the catch under the sink pipe so they came out when I turned the water on. Despite the shock of 10 degree water, all of them survived and are now hard at work cleaning my tank 3 days later.

Just thought I'd post this to warn other people against making the same stupid mistake I did.

That's pretty intense! Not only would the water be cold but the chlorine would burn them as well, glad they're doing ok
