Hi.

I'm an avid aquarist with a botany degree. Over the years I have compiled lists of 25 state's aquatic plants you can collect!

So if you want one toss your state below, I'm trying to complete all 50 by the end of the year but lack of motivation to do it.

Give me the push!

(Please follow state and local laws, don't overharvest, less plants today means more plants tomorrow!)

Don't forget Texas! We actually have a lot of limnological niches found nowhere else on the continent! Especially near the coast and around Travis County, though I might be slightly biased.

Do you have Arizona? I'd love to have some native plants for my aquarium!

Minnesota list?
Not a full list by any means but I had good luck in the past with local hornworts (caller coontail by local non aquarist types). Doesent sound very exciting, but it had slightly differnt needles than the hornwort common in the trade. It also never dropped its needles even when I was overdosing excel.

Also tried a few of the local pogo. species (Pogo. Sp.), but did not have any luck.

Lastly there is littorella uniflora or a related species in Minnesota. I had mixed success with this plant.
