Hello everyone, I recently noticed some aquatic plants in a lake nearby. Could anyone identify these? Could I keep them in a aquarium?

Looks like Ludwigia palustris to me, and yes, you can absolutely keep them in aquariums. Where in GA are you? I live in Athens.

I live in Louisiana. This type of Ludwigia is EVERYWHERE and I had a 20 Long get taken over by it. The wild stuff grows crazy fast compared to aquacultured in my opinion. It shoots straight up to the surface.
