So, what would the tetra equivalent of a fish the size of a celestial pearl danio be?

I know green neons are one option, but I'm sure there are other super small tetras.

Ember Tetras are pretty small. Their adult size is .75 - 1 inch. They prefer a PH of 5.5-7.0, but I keep them in a PH of 8 and they're all doing fine! They look a bit washed out when kept in a higher ph.

My CPDs are over an inch, hard to tell but I might say 1.25" so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch, even Neons don't get much bigger

Glowlight tetras (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) stay pretty small from what I have read - most commonly with a length of 1.3" cited, although there is one citation of a wild fish at 1.6".

They are striking fish that always catch my attention at the LFS.
