I have a UNS 45S (45cm x 28cm x 18cm) that I'd like to set up.
I was originally planning on having it planted with shrimp and some small nano fish. The problem is a don't have a cover and I don't plan on getting a cover.
I'm struggling to think of nano-sized fish that are unlikely to jump. The best idea I've had so far is Neolamprologus similis. I would think shellies would be very unlikely to jump and much more likely to dive for a shell when spooked. Supposedly, N. similis aren't much of diggers so they could work with plants. Unfortunately, they won't work with shrimp.
What are some other nano-sized fish that are unlikely to jump? Would Dario sp. work?
