I have a 9gal fluval flex running a 20oz Co2 bottle and I was wondering whats a good BPS (Bubble per second) starting point 1 BPS or 2-3?

That depends on a few factors like lighting intesity/duration, ferts, and plants. I'd say start with .5bps if you're just starting to use it. Measure your PH drop and keep an eye on your plants and livestock for a week. Every system/diffuser is slightly different so start slow and build up over the course of a few weeks. In my 10 gallon tank I ran 1 bps to get a 1 point ph drop, but I found the sweet spot at around 7 bubbles per 10 seconds for plants, ferts, and livestock.
