Can anyone identify this thing that is growing in my freshwater, planted aquarium?

I appears to be growing above the normal water line.

That looks like a mystery snail egg clutch..

Yes indeed it is.. I quick google search confirms.. so.. next question.. how many snails will this produce, and I'm thinking might be a good time to remove said egg clutch. Any suggestions?
