Just took a couple of shots of my BBs and a Snow white.
This is one of my BB males.

Here's Big Mamma due any day now and look who's keeping her company....baby Panda!

One of my favourite Snow whites.

Thank you. I DO love the BBs.

Big Mamma kicked off 6 of her babies this am right in time for New Year! :proud: She's still got another 6+ on her, so expect the rest to arrive tomorrow/later today.

Of the 6 I could see....3 look like BKK Pandas :bounce: the others could be BBs, it was too hard an angle to see clearly as they were in the corner of the breeder box on the front.

Here's what I saw, the arrow shows the baby in the floss.

I just love how they manage to change their blue coloration with different things. I found the females get extremely blue when berried, some of the males go from pale blue to almost turquoise depending on their moods....no two are the same.

I saw one of the babies born today is NOT a black panda...it has bands but is paler in color than the rest, so Im wondering now if it might be a Wine Red....who knows ;)

As long as I can keep them alive I will be very happy with whatever color is in this group. So far my other baby BKK Panda is growing good.

Happy New Year to one and All!

I am very happy this am as my Big Mamma has now released the rest of the babies and they are all happily stuck to the glass or on the filter floss.

I counted 10+ might be more inside the floss area but I can't see that well in the breeder box. I did see one that is definitely not blue panda (indicating bkk panda later on) in fact it has a red tinge to the body but is definitely banded, so I think it will be a WR panda, and another one looks like the head is all blue didn't see any bands, so thinking this one is a BB

Mamma is totally empty as she showed me her underside this am, so she will be returning to the tank hopefully for round 2 with some of my eager and lonely males ;)

I read somewhere that baby shrimps don't move away from the area they are born in for a few days, so that's a good thing as I now know where to look for them (which is on the filter floss, loaded with biofilm for them to eat)

What a great start to 2013 :proud:
Wishing everyone else as good a year!
