Ok so I've been wanting a pair of these FOREVER and finally ordered through my lfs. Anyways, great fish, I absolutely love them and they are awesome in my little planted spec 2. I'm having doubts if they are a pair. Was wondering if anyone has had experience can take a look and let me know if I have m/f or m/m.

I'll try to get a few, I have a cell that takes horrible pics, and these guys are shy as well lol

Seems like 2 males here too. Usually females don't display any stripes at all from my past experience.

That's what I had read however when I did a search on "female Dario dario" I saw some pics of females with faded stripes. So I wasn't sure. Here is some pics (best I could get) of the dull one.

i think females can show extremely faint lines that usually look 'broken'. i would say its most likely a female. especially since they are together. males don't hang together like that. but what do i know, i had 3 within 4 days all die. stupid little buggers. not my fish apparently.
