My plants are dying...help!!!

484 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Zapins
When I started my tank all my plants looked great...I introduced co2 and they thrived, I actually had to pull some of the runners out because it was just getting crazy.

I dose flourish once a week, but lately my plants are looking like hell. They're browning, leaves are falling off, deteriorating, etc.

What can I do to fix this?

Edit: it's a 10 gallon with a 24" finnex ray2 light and an aquaclear 20 filter.

Looks like you have quite a bit of algae now which is browning up the leaves and probably making things look worse than they actually are.

I think the holes on the Sagittaria plants might show a potassium deficiency, though it might also be a nitrogen deficiency.

What are you adding for nitrogen? Do you have a nitrate test kit handy? Are you adding potassium?

Do you have any broad leafed plants showing similar signs on their older leaves? If so can you take a few pictures? Ammanias and Sag aren't the best indicator plants.
