Mud or no mud it looks nice to me. You did a great job selecting and placing the plants. You may have just inspired me to build my mom a planted Betta tank.

Substrate : Flourite
Tank Size : 5 Gallons
Tank Manufacturer : Marineland.
Heater : Penplex 50W
Filter : Whatever that came with the tank.
CO2 : Seachem Flourish Excel
Ferts : Seachem Iron?, Flourish
Plants : Java Fern on Driftwood, Anubias Nana Petite, Java Moss, Rotola Indica, Moneywort, Some grass(Dont know)
Lighting : 10W compact fluorescent bulb.
Tank is planted since 11/01/2007.
Frustuation : I see lot of mudd on plants (I hate flourite!). May be I need to change the filter!
Creatures that call this tank home : Crown Tail Betta, Ghosty, some uninvited guests(pond snails!!) :icon_eek:
