My new Purple Zebra Shrimp

I just got these today and they are really cool looking. Just thought I would share some photos of them that I took not too long ago. The neon green patch is actually the saddle, similar to ghost shrimp I suppose. Very little is known about this shrimp. Notice how the eyes are very close together. It is definitely unlike any other shrimp I have kept....

WOWZERS! Those are awesome and so are the green ones!!! Are they expensive or really expensive?
I can't say it enough. You take awesome photos.

unlike in appearance alone, or in modality and behavior as well?

I saw aquaticmagic selling them on ebaY; very expensive.
I wish you best of luck breeding them for resale.
amazing photo's - thanks for sharing them.
Very nice I am going to be getting some of these in the next day or two myself. Those are nice looking shrimp but they look tiny :)
Awesome photos, Ryan. Do you happen to know the scientific name of these shrimp? They're really nice looking. :) Nice find.
They look good. Just don't expect to see much of them they're typically VERY VERY shy.

Let us know how the breeding goes!

Awesome looking shrimp, Ryan! Love the pic of the one with the green shrimp. What is that they're eating?

Thanks :)

They are eating a TetraMin Variety Wafers for bottom feeders. Even says great for hermit crabs on the bag :) No copper of course. They sell it at petsmart. My shrimp love it!

Actually it has been the opposite. I see them feeding on the sponge filter regularly. They also come out to eat occasionally.. Hence, I got the pics :)
Very nice pic. Any advice on taking pictures? (cam, light setup)
Those guys are really cute - I love how they almost look cross-eyed :hihi:
