My new 40 breeder setup

I finally got the stand built for my first 40 breeder. And I got it set up with Safe-T-Sorb substrate and filled. I just installed the Eheim 2213 filter installed tongiht. Boy I hope they are as high quality as everyone says, because I felt like an idiot installing it with the horrible instructions. Finally figured out how to install the spraybar, and which was the input and output. (lol, first time I plugged it in the water came out the input).

Anyway, I will post some pictures soon (Just too embarrassed about the murky water now since I didn't clean the substrate well enough.)

I will be using the tank as an Angelfish display tank, taking my 4 best Angels from my larger tank and placing them in here with all of the trimmings from the plants in my 75.

Is a 40B big enough for 4 angel fish? :x
plenty, at least I'm told so by my mentors over on the Angelfish Forum.
Oh perfect. I was mostly just curious for myself too because I have a spare 40B tank that I don't know what to do with.
I'm going to scape it with some large piece of driftwood like a stump or something in the center and use plants to break line of sight between the two sides just in case they pair up and start defending territory. I will also be starting up a few 20 Highs with no substrate and sponge filters in case I get a breeding pair.

I am new at all of this, so I am really relying on the new friends I have made in Angelfish for guidance.
Now, My second 40 breeder is going to be my challenge, because my wife wants African Cichlids and most cannot be held in a 36" wide tank. I think I found a solution for her, if I can find a place to get Pseudotropheus saulosi.
Here is my 40 breeder so far.

That looks great, 40 breeders have such nice dimensions...

looks nice man, what's your stocking plan?

I love their giant footprint.

I want a tank a foot longer with the same width/height, it'd be perfect then. (What would that be?)

I'm still going to go with a show tank for my nicest Angelfish. About 4 of them will do quite nice.

I looked up some aquarium sizes and the only thing close to the dimensions of the 40 breeder in a longer tank is the good old 75 gallon. still 18 inches in depth, but it is 21 inches tall instead of 16. Maybe there are some other sizes out there.

Oh yea, LOL I totally spaced off about the Anglefish plan you had, sorry bought that.

I'm talkin like custom built :)
