Just set up my new 125gal last week and noticed some slimy/cloudy colored algae on my driftwood. Wondering what may be the cause of it. If it's something I need to tweak or just because it's a new tank.

Using these lights. They are on 8 1/2 hours a day.

LINK REMOVED - just tell us the specific light fixture you're using

Tank temp 78.
Added a less than recommended dosage of Flourish Excel after planting.
