My Nerite snails were busy last night.

New thought could these be angel fish eggs. I have three in the tank and one of them is hanging around these eggs pretty intently. Never bred angels (I'm a killie guy).

How they are in straight lines make me think angel as well.

Yeah definitely angel eggs now that I have looked them up online. They are more clear than the nerite snail eggs. Anyone have their angels breed in a community tank? From what i hear they can be pretty aggressive at this time and am wondering what my next move should be. Pretty much all other inhabitants are keeping their distance. Wondering if this could be why my fish are acting funny.

I'm far from an expert, but I had angels spawn SEVERAL times in my planted tank. Note that I did not purposely buy male and female fish and bought them when they were quarter size. The fry never lived past the wiggler stage. After the female passed, the male became very aggressive, never killing another fish, but he was alwasy chasing someone so I had to rehome him.

Well I have 3, 2 golden ones and a black one. One of the golds and the black are always together and I've caught the 2 golds duking it out every now and then. So I figured it the golds were male and the black female, but I guess they could all be female. I acquired them when I bought the tank or I probably would not have gotten angels (although they have grown on me). What do you think I should do if anything?

How can you tell?

Fertile eggs quickly turn a yellowish-clear color. Those look milky white, which usually indicates duds.

Big water changes are common spawning triggers for many Amazonian fish species.

So from what i'm reading they will eventually eat the eggs right? Could they be male female and just immature?

Definitely possible. Lots of fish take a few tries before they get everything figured out.

Ha yeah it took me a few tries before I got it down too LOL.
