It really depends on how big the tank you're upgrading to is. A singapore wood shrimp is a bit on the larger side as far as shrimps are concerned.
You might want to consider putting some smaller leaf plants in the tank (makes it look bigger than it actually is). A. nana petite is a great example of one such plant (I picked one up this weekend around 2" around with over 25 leaves for $14). Some other plants to consider would include Rotala indica, dwarf hairgrass, glosso (latter two require more care than the others and really depends on what you are gonna do in your new setup).
As for shrimps, amanos, cherry reds, ghosts, and bumblebees are some examples which will add some color and variety to the mix.
